The Company was formed some 8 years back with a small manufacturing & packing facility of approx 500 kg. of pickles per day with a Capital layout of approx Rs 1 million. Today the plant capacity has gone up to 2 tons per day for pickles and diversification has been done to make – snack dressing, Soya and green Chilli sauces and Synthetic, natural (Cane), and Jamun Vinegars as well as a variety of Chutneys under its brand GRANNY’S. Capital base has also increased to over Rs. 5 million.
Widely accepted by consumers and gourmets each product has that taste of ‘home’: - doting grand mothers with their secret recipes who lavish love and goodness to all in whatever they do. This TLC relates to popular demand even with well known gourmets as Rashmi Udai Singh. Regular exports to Australia in the last 5 years highlights the quality of the product and it’s packaging.
SAFPL’s usp are the formulations, recipes and traditional tastes that have come down thru generations of grand mothers influenced by their travels and life styles from all over the country. There are made and packed in a plant using the latest machinery and HACCP methods.
The plant has been set up in sylvan surroundings in the middle of a mango orchard in the north of India the ‘Terai’ region which provides an abundance of high quality fresh fruit & vegetables.
The 5P- Purchase, Preservation, Preparation, Processing and Packing are done under rigid guidelines and online control to provide total satisfaction to customers. The wide range of tastemakers currently available will be complemented with some special spice combinations, noodles and snack items in the near future.
The plant has a technocrat manager assisted by a qualified laboratory assistant and trained super visors and workers to ensure a consistent quality product.
The Co. see its future in providing high quality gourmet tastemakers and cooking ingredients for domestic and international markets. It will also provide the entire range of ‘home’ tasting food ad-ons for those who do not have the time, space and knowledge to do it themselves.
